One of the most valuable and often overlooked functions of a membership organization is being an advocate for its’ members.  At  Beauty BOASS, we work to represent the collective voice of our professional black-owned beauty businesses.

Our goal is to foster an environment where black-owned beauty businesses can grow and prosper.  We seek to collaborate with many business partners both locally and nationally.  We build partnerships through the political, private sector, government, and nonprofit organizations.

Our relationships with these partners allow us to have a say in policies and the key issues affecting our industry.   Your membership with Beauty BOASS signifies your understanding and belief in the importance of strength in numbers and that every voice matters!  As active professionals, we must not only participate in the legislative process to protect our industry but, we must also support and protect our rights to own and operate our businesses.

We must also work collectively within the membership to support one another and that includes sharing information as well as have an open dialog about best practices and lessons learned experiences.
